Dictionaries have defined the word

"piffle"

as meaning...nonsense.

Yep. Especially in a loud stadium like Denver. I think sometimes Rivers is micromanaging things with all these audibles, instead of going with the play called, and without letting that clock tick down to 1 and giving the pass rushers the advantage. How about this for a change: Play is called, huddle breaks, Rivers to the line of scrimmage, quick snap, catch the other team napping, BOOM! Quick pass complete. Or, BOOM! Quick opener for Gordie for a big gain! I'm getting real tired of these frequent audibles, which end up not even working most of the time...and as Pac succinctly pointed out, not everyone may hear the audible in a loud place like Denver and we end up with a busted play...

Baby steps, cat.
At least he's not always in shotgun.

Yes, the shotgun is another of my biggest bug-a-boos. So predictable, especially the shotgun handoff...zzzz......reduce the shotgun AND audibles, more quick snaps, more hurry-up offense and now you keep the opposing D off-balanced instead of them dictating the game to our O...
