Default Seats at Qualcomm Stadium

I'm looking at going to my first Chargers game on November 22nd against the Chiefs for Sunday Night Football. Can't wait! Anyone have any advice on where I should sit?

I've read that sections 14-19 are the best however most of those tickets are sold out for this game. I would really like to sit around the 50 yard line on the Chargers side. I'm thinking field level section 36 or 37? My one big question for that section is about the obstructed view... In what row is the obstruction not a problem should I choose to sit there?

Any info helps. If you guys could answer those questions as well as throw in some input to where some other great seats are without obstruction that would be great.

If they go up for sale, I would seriously think about purchasing my World Series seats from 1984. Right Field half way up (right where Garvey hit that HR in the NLCS game against the Cubs) Still get goosebumps hearing that stadium roar

Was at the game on Sunday - Plaza 48 section row 7. View was great but absolutely no shade which sucked. Sitting higher up would have been nicer in that regard. However, I don't think that would matter too much for an evening game though, but I've never been to one so I wouldn't know for sure.

Cost is about $150.

P. S. Absolutely do not go too low if you go field level. There are way too many obstructions.

I got L26 row 7 for the Steelers game. I sat in a similar spot for the Texans game in 2013, but on the other side closer to the visiting team's sideline and it was a very good view. Mathews scored on the first offensive play of the game right in our corner.

This is worth a look. Just checked the view for my seats and I am very happy with the location.

Judging by the photos it looks like the first few rows of the Plaza section are better than the higher up rows of the field level section?

Is that true? What do you guys think?

Edit: I think I just changed my mind haha I like the higher up part of the lower field level section. Either way- What do you guys think?

I moved down to row 15 from row 22 in Plaza. I like row 15 much better. I still have shade, and I can see both scoreboards now.

I misread the title...oops! I was thinking END OF THE YEAR SALE and FOREVER SEATS for Jack Murphy Stadium.
Answer to your question though is roughly, Section P (right field) row 15, seats 14-15.
