We have had the weapons here for a long time but whats been the constant issue? THE OFFENSIVE LINE.

Fact is, put rivers in NE, Den, NO, Pitt even the Giants and hed have multiple championships.
Now, put those teams QBs on the Chargers? Same result. No rings and a bunch of Monday morning QBs
FACT: we had the most talents in the NFL for a 4-5 years period when LT was MVP and the OL was terrific and the DEF was top 5, we won nothing and fizzled in the playoffs. Dont sell me sunshine that PR NEVER had talents around him.

Because of the offensive line and the play calling. This is not Rivers fault. Brees and Brady throw plenty of interceptions. Put Rivers in New England and you don't think that at 5 years younger than Brady (and Rivers has also thrown for more yards than Brady the past 10 years with worse coaching and lineman) that Rivers wouldn't be playing lights out under Bellicheck and Daniels? If you truly believe that he wouldn't be then you are denial. Put Brady or Brees in Cleveland and let's see where their #'s would be and the chants of please retire in their forums. Trading Rivers doesn't turn this team into a contender because what we need to do instead is trade the HC & OC but that isn't the way it works

Here's what I want. Going into next season a a) big name good HC who can put a system, staff & culture in place to use PR effectively b) a good young top QB drafted who PR could mentor c) a new GM d)a new starting RB e) a stud OT & C...

Now that's not too much to ask for is it?

Except this year we have an offensive line that is doing their job holding up in pass protection as whole. For whatever reason the entire offensive is in a log jam and cant score points consistently

Sorry it's the HC..... You can't blame the OC or say replace him as the magic key to turn this around.... Whiz & PR have shown under the right conditions they can put up points..... Therefore it's the freaking HC....

Did Rivers cost them in the post season? If you are going to sell that one, present your position.

Rivers was great. At times, almost elite.

Rivers was then inconsistent, going from great, to good, to bad.

Now, Rivers is still inconsistent, but goes from good to bad.

This doesn't end well.

Thank you #17.

Yes, I promised Gus Bradley would be an upgrade. All of the Mods cried for Pagano.

Destruction complete.

Are you sure it's Gus? Not our #3 pick and the trickle down?

We have better players, and where we don't we're struggling.

It's a wash.

Hey, for once in a long time, we agree on something?

Gus Bradley is riding the coattails of our amazing 4 man pass rush. If we didn't have that pass rush with Bosa/Ingram, blitzing less than 20% of the time, putting linebackers in man coverage on receivers, and starting Pullard over Toomer for 8 games would be a lot more glaring.
