I was comparing Bo’s under 3k yardage. Does Dha know Bo? Cause Bo knows Bo.

Emmitt was tough, aggressive, great player. He should be in the discussion but the talent around him added to his stats. Great player though.

Also, Bo only had 18 total TD's. That's 4.5 TD's per year. Of course, he only played 12 games per year. Still... that's weak.

LT had almost double that (31) in just one year...

The same thing could be said for Dickerson.
If you want a RB who can do it all, LT is a top 3.

But... Emmit ran behind one of the greatest OL's of all-time... and it took him 4 more years to do it.
Emmit was smooth and durable. Can’t say I saw many jaw dropping moments from him tho.

I would not put Emmett high on the list.

Brandt the Cowboy did not either.

Obviously this was about how "good" ie talented these players were.

Imagine what LT would have done running behind Larry Allen and company.

3. LaDanian Tomlinson. 4.3 ypc. Could do it all. 162 total TD's. 18,500 total yards.
4. Barry Sanders. 5.0 ypc. Best shake & bake of all time. Didn't have the TD's and receiving yards of Sweetness or LT.
5. Emmitt Smith. 4.2 ypc. 175 total TD's, 21,500 total yards. Amazing longevity. Great OL.
6. Marshall Faulk. 4.3 ypc. 136 total TD's, 19,000 total yards.
7. Marcus Allen. 4.1 ypc. 144 total TD's, 17,500 total yards.
8. Eric Dickerson. 4.4 ypc. 96 total TD's, 15,500 total yards.
9. OJ Simpson. 4.7 ypc. Didn't have the TD's and total yards. But absolutely carried bad Bills teams on his back.
10. Gayle Sayers. 5.0 ypc. Career shortened by injury. Had it all. One of the funnest RB's to watch all-time. Ahead of his time. Ran so hard, cut so hard. No wonder he got hurt early...

I like your list. Seems right to me.

It's Gil's list.
The best RBs.

Emmett sure hit those gaping holes, didn't he ?

Look at all that yardage.
Look at all them touchdowns.
He played in a playoff game with a separated shoulder.
Didn't want to miss out on those gaping holes.

Not on my top ten list.
Where's Earl Campbell ?!?
