That's a big improvement.

IMO You work around the lack of leg strength on kickoffs ala Nick Novak.

Yes, Badger has been perfect on those figgies and points after, which is an improvement. How do they work around the lack of a big leg? I know this is the key reason why AL let Nick Rose go last year. Maybe Badger hits the leg lift machine?

Thanks for playing along...

The best Offense is a good Defense.

Catanzaro was about to be released before not being released.

The FG kicker wasn't challenged for anything further than extra points range luckily. His kickoffs sucked.

Yes, but considering that the Chargers were 66.7% on extra points over the first five games ...

Yep...Tucker only has an 89.9% FG career % and he just missed the first PAT of his career...he's on the bubble now...

We had a whole off season to figure this out made a decision to acquire Sturgeon and we still have the same problems along with him being injured. Mike has made all of his extra points which is huge. The team has two weeks to figure it out.

A short field gives an opponent 6-9 downs less to play with lots of field position. Our defense was porous and against another team the outcome may have been different. With stronger offenses having short fields to drive for points.

We can try option 1 work out these short kicks with technique and practice over the next two weeks. Or option 2 we acquire Aguayo or another kicker. Kai Forbath is still waiting for a team to sign with.

Still I get it...TT and staff put us in this position and are responsible for the roster. If we want to be competitive against the top teams then fix the problem or let Sturgis go. Find someone who can do the complete job.

With all the chaotic happenings at this position alone we still got the job done with a win. Applause for Lynn and staff.
