There aren't too many QB's that have scored under or around 13 that have had successful careers in the NFL. It's an intellectual game. Not saying he can't do it. But don't sugar coat this, a very terrible score.

I will also add, that there is word out there that his Mom is doing a terrible job as his representation, and that teams aren't even able to schedule meetings with him. Not good Lamar.
Listening to him get interviewed shows that he isn't the brightest bulb. The fact that he is having his mom represent him in a professional capacity for the most important day of his life... just screams stupidity.

I don't care how athletic he is... there is no way I draft this guy before the 4th round. No way.

If he can't process information fast enough to score higher than a 20 on the wonderlic, then there is no way he can process information fast enough to play QB in the NFL.

I was on the LJ bandwagon, but this is very concerning to me.

I guess I would consider this score in context with my evaluation of him in a personal meeting/interview- which we apparently had with him:

Jeff George scoring a 10 is the prototypical caution tale:

A guy with mind-blowing physical talent and a pea-brain planted in his skull. Coach killer!!!

So it looks like Baker Mayfield would be the better choice, hope they really don't use our 1st pick on Lamar or QB Unless.

Up till now, I thought he was being under rated by pundits vs the other potential 1st round QB's, IMO he and his mom (as his agent) aren't helping enhance his draft stock by not participating in the 40 and other testing at either the combine or his pro day, in addition to apparently being somewhat difficult to schedule some teams meeting with him.

Bucky Brooks tweet:
I don’t know why Jackson elected to sit out on testing. Teams simply wanted to confirm his speed to help them compare his “explosiveness” to others (Vick, RG3, Wilson, Watson and Mariota). Helps scouts paint a picture in the meeting room.. LJ should always show off his strengths.

IMO a good agent would walk him through the entire process and talk him up to teams and maybe increase his draft position, he should consider it even though it costs a % of his contract .... just pick a good one with good references others are happy with.

Go Chargers!
