LT had some wheels. He had that 4.4 speed but I think he played faster.

Gordon has that rare quickness, and I personally think he plays faster than he timed.

correct me if I'm wrong but I think Mathews ran a faster 40 yard dash at the combine than Gordon. The difference is going to be the offensive line and not break away speed or any bull like that. Mathews had a terrible O-Line his entire time here in San Diego. Look at Rivers decline until we had Wisenhunt and a short/quick passing game. Gordons line should be much better and I hope he runs us all the way to the superbowl. go bolts.

A big difference is gonna be that Ryan (unlike Gordon) couldn't make anyone miss in the open field. He would either try to outrun them or bulldoze them.
