Walton was his C when he was the OC with Denver

He's good. Far from special. Unless you have very low standards for the term.

We got him young while he was developing into the player he's become.

Red Bryant is 31, was a one dimensional player at the best of times, and now his best days are behind him.

I'm not saying he couldn't be useful. But special?

seriously at this point in time we need bodies just to fill the line. pretty soon we're gonna bring in TEs to be linemen.

Hey! I'm 6 foot tall, 210 lbs, not as fast as I once was. Not even close. But I'll be glad to take the UDFA minimum for playing on the Oline.....or safety. (which I have played in high school). If I get hurt, I'll be happy to have the team buy out my contract. But I think they could really use a guy like me . Might not be much worse than what they've got now. But I'm willing to do what I can for the team.

We have a chance to cull together the semblance of an offensive line in time for Cleveland. If we can squeeze one out, then our next chance for victory will be vs the Steelers. They play on Thursday and will have time to put together some complex zone blitzes to use against us. Veteran centers, such as Robinson and Walton will come in handy, in the short term. Then, let's see who is healthy in a couple of weeks.

Do you think Watt is moving to one of the guard spots when he heals?

I don't think we can afford to give him snaps at center anymore, at least for this year. We stabilized last year with Legursky. It seems to somehow work.

It's just my opinion that thus far, Watt completely fails at center without decent pieces around him. Eventually it may be otherwise.

Yeah, that's what it looks like. With Legursky at center the OL looked decent. This needs to get fixed ASAP.
