I'd go with drafting in the top 3 again. Making a comeback and going 8-8 or something of that order guarantees MM will be back and we'll be drafting middle of the pack.

In contrast another 4-12 season would mean MM gets canned and we draft top 3-5 once again. Much better outcome. Of course we won't sign our pick in time for him to play week 1 and if we do he'll go to IR during TC or exhibition games.

completely agree, that has to be agonizing....

the only thing worse than watching your team lose because they aren't good enough is watching them lose when they are good enough...

Yup. Looks like the Donks are close to a lock to win the AFCW. Sorry I can't wish you good luck while we haven't been eliminated- although highly unlikely.

way too early for that kinda talk brother...

SD is still in it and Denver isn't close to locking anything up...

if the Chargers were outmatched in their games, I'd tend to agree... but it could be argued that SD should've won every game they lost which means the team is actually a good team... perhaps not coached well late in games but clearly a good enough team to win...

yeah, I've been beating that drum but it's probably just not the case. In crunch time when the other team ratchets it up a notch the Chargers can't keep pace and get exposed.

You are what your record says you are. And ahat's 1-3, 5-15 over last season and this one and 0-7 in the division over that time period.

We're not really in the competition.

Well, winning the division can't be all that great. Think about the crowds, and the ticket prices going up. The traffic on the freeways, and around the stadium getting more clogged up. Longer wait times at favorite restaurants , and waiting longer to get a drink at a favorite watering hole. And then there are the visiting teams obnoxious fans.

No ...Thank...You!

Having a top 3 draft pick is so much better.

Bonus: When we don't sign him on time there will be 500 pages of arguments on the CMB. Can't overlook that nugget.

I can't imagine, or we don't deserve, any better.

Not sure which it is.
