Someone needs to step up. If it's a guy with the tool or ideal measurements NFL scouts look for, all the better.

I understand the signing of Jones. However, I want Williams and Inman to be ahead of Jones on the final roster. Problem with that, Jones being fifth on the depth chart means he needs to be the gunner on kickoffs. Jk

They're both going to see plenty of action this year. If it's not them then who do you expect it to be? It's Allen and Benjamin then whoever else steps up.

Both will appear over the season. How much depends on how well they play those downs.
KA is a lock at #1, the rest of the guys will be rotated in for situations until/if someone
shows up big consistently. It could be that they are just better in specific situations. Having the TE & RB receiving group we have, the TE/RBs are going to get a lot of targets after KA. It's going to take some serious work for a WR not named Kenan to get big target numbers. I wish them well and hope someone does emerge as a rising star/keystone WR.

You can slot James Jones in the #3 WR spot right here and now.

I've spoken.

Benjamin & Jones have the potential to earn a lot of WR targets. Dom Williams and Burse are my PS sleepers.

It'll be interesting to see how the WR group shakes out with the final 53.

Barring any "i's" we can obviously expect K. Allen and T. Benjamin to be at the top of the WR group, with the unfortunate injury to Stevie Johnson it opens up a spot, James Jones was brought in, but there's lot's of competition.

J. Herndon and D. Inman were ahead of Tyrell Williams last yr, but Tyrell has impressed to this point, he may have leapfrogged them, I don't know, also good things have been said of Isaiah Burse to this point, there are some other guys such as Dom Williams too.

I've been impressed with TW's apparent improvement according to reports, we'll all get to see how he does along with everybody else at WR, I'm looking forward to the PS games to see who does what.

Here's an article from a few days ago by Tom Krasovic titled Rivers-Williams vibe is growing

Go Chargers!

LOL! That's funny. (not sarcasm)
Jones has been a reliably productive target in GB and should have solid year in SD but Ty has more potential.

Whoops. And I was just teasing you on the Bosa thread. Sorry. Anyway, I agree with you on TW.
