I didn't read anything about changing the uniforms. If they completely change their brand and uniforms that may be a deal breaker for me. Has anyone heard if they are changing the uniforms to blue and white?
Each chargers motto is worst than the last. John Spanos must be in charge if this as well.

I'm hoping that's just a secondary or partial logo and not the main logo. The Seau and the current(until further notice) uniforms were the best in the NFL. If they do change the color schemes, at least keep the bolts on the shoulders. I just hope it wont be Colts color scheme. Blue and white? Really?

I expect the chargers to totally rebrand before they enter the new stadium. Start a new history and get people to buy into this new "LA" team. It's the only chance they got unless they just want to play 2nd fiddle to the rams

I think you are 100% right, ala Tennessee. On a side note, does anyone remember why the Texans didn't become the Oilers? Do the Titans still hold the trademark rights?

Quoting from the CBS News article at the link below:

"Commissioner Paul Tagliabue agreed to retire the Oilers nickname, preventing any future franchise that might land in Houston from taking the name."

They don't need people to "buy in" to be successful tho in a business sense. The buy in will neecessary for the team to not have bad homefield advantage

The best way to buy in is with a coach that will focus on defense and running the ball. That leads to more wins... And with Rams being so bad and Gurley looking like Trent Richardson out there.... Chargers have a golden opportunity.
Then again this team is probably use to bad homefield advantage soo it probably doesn't matter that much
