![]() Moving on to next season...
We'll have to make decisions on Tyrell Williams, Square, Emmanuel, Pullard, Perryman, and Philon. Not sure who else I'm missing. We're going to need to make moves in free agency, which means we're going to have to let some some of our own FAs walk. Obviously it would be nice to hold on to Tyrell Williams, but he's been vastly outplayed by Mike Williams in the 2H of the season, and we have Cantrell, Davis, and Scott waiting in the wings. We need: DT ILB OLB FS RT (Tevi is a great backup) Maybe G Okung is regressing too, but we'll hold on to him for a year. Some notable FAs that would be nice signings: Landon Collins Michael Kendricks CJ Mosely Will Compton What's the plan, guys? I'm.not.as high on Whis as some people on here are, but I assume we're coming back with the same coordinators and I'm cool with it.

![]() Yeah, because I'm already looking forward to next season.
Also working the reverse jinx angle in a desperate rabbit out of the hat move.

Which areas does the front office focus on to get us past the hump next season? As bad as this loss was, we made a noticeable improvement over the previous year, even with all the injuries. From 9-7 and out of the playoffs to 12-4 and getting to the divisional round. It may not feel like it right now, but it was a special year to follow this team with a number of great, great wins that invigorated the fan base and maybe, just maybe discovering that we have a new core of talent to build around for years to come after a decade of going nowhere. We're not THAT far off, guys. That being said, the O-line has been a thorn in our side for years now and it was mediocre at best this year, especially in the passing game. The running game tailed off considerably, too, towards the end of the year. To me, this should be the BIGGEST area of focus going into the offseason, and at least three positions should have a new starter or serious competition added for next season. O-line is holding this offense back and could be the difference between them being just good and truly great. On defense, health and internal improvement from the very young core will go a long way towards getting better in 2019. But we definitely need some new blood in the middle of the line and better depth at linebacker and CB. The team needs to seriously consider whether guys like Mebane, Perryman, and Addae can be even decent 16-game starters for us next season. |

![]() We've got the skill players (WRs, RBs, DBs) and depth behind it (obvious help at FS needed).
If Telesco went all Oline and Dline at the draft, I wouldn't be opposed. LBers in free agency
