75 ... the center for 'Bama? He got his ass kicked for most of the game. The OG/OT's did good for the Tide, but the center was on roller skates whenever singled up on Geathers.

Jones (at least as a center) and Holmes are both really overrated. Center is one of the harder positions to scout and it's one the media doesn't get right too often.

Holmes for sure is really overrated. He's been below average for sure.

Jones has been moved too much. He's played LT, LG, RG, C, etc. If they would just let him learn a single position, he'd be really good. I think he should play RG.

That's why I made the qualification that he's overrated at center specifically. Definitely a worthy NFL prospect.

Warmack and Kouandijo. Those two are animals. Kouandijo is going to be so good.

I'm leaning towards tackle in the 1st round and signing veteran competition at RT if we don't already have one. We can't win with this existing line. Surely one of the top LTs should be available to us. Joeckel and Mathews are in my sights however it makes me wonder if Mathews is the better swing tackle prospect.

The Crimson Tide center, though, needed the support of crutches to get through the post-game ceremony because of an injured left foot.

He sustained the injury during the first quarter, but played through the pain all the way to the end of Alabama’s 32-28 SEC Championship victory over Georgia. Other than leaving for the locker room one play early at the end of the second quarter, he was largely unaffected.

“I knew my teammates needed me,” Jones said. “It never crossed my mind to come out.”

While I thought Jones was bad vs. Geathers, he might have had a reason. We'll see how he does against a good Notre Dame front 7.
