Looks good. Do they serve warm beer in little glasses? I spent a college year in Madrid and every afternoon we'd have little tapas and these little glasses of beer (appr. 4-6 oz, I'd guess). The beers were served warm, and cost the equivalent of a dime.

Chorizo, seafood (jumbo shrimp in garlic and artichoke hearts), and seasoned fried potatoes.

We also shared some paella after this dish. That's a seafood/rice dish. We couldn't finish it.

They may have, but I only had water. Wife had a glass of wine.

My family went to visit relatives in Spain last Summer, but I had to stay here and work. She said these dishes were close to what they had over there.

So it sounds like two of you both give that place a thumbs up?

I've missed Spanish food. A few questions, if you don't mind.

1) Do they serve paella with enough saffron to be legit?

2) Do they serve Spanish tortilla? (Nothing like a mexican tortilla, for the rest of you. More like a frittata.

3) What kind of dancing, Gooey?

I just read the last four pages of the Gaither thread in GD and feel thoroughly trolled. I guess people are much more willing to 'turn a blind eye' to the past than I am. Good for them, I guess. Clean slate my butt.

Speaking of my butt, how's things y'all?

CT, got my hands on a supressed Sig Sauer 516 today. 10 1/2" barrel with a 6" can. Sweet setup. Now I just need to talk the guy into letting me get some trigger time on it.

Cafe Sevilla is a pretty nice place. Good choice JeFA. I've had tapas and dinner there once and another time just had tapas and drinks before dinner at another place. Both times I enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Recently went to a little place in Esco called Lucio's. Awesome atmosphere, good beer, and rockin' burgers. You can hangout on the back patio while the chef cooks your food on the grill out back. Super nice people working there, and the owner (Lucio) got up on the stage and sang and played harmonica with the guitar/singer they had playing that night. Great time, and I'll be bringing my sister there when she comes to town next week for a conference.

Thought about it. Hmmm. Maybe we'll be headed back there soon.

The paella is legit; that's why we went there. We host Spanish students in the Summer often. This one girl made the most amazing paella. The only things that were not authentic at Sevilla, according to my wife, were the peas and lemon slices.

We didn't have any tortillas, so. :/

Cafe Sevilla seems like a pick-up spot. You go to meet girls (so say people), so we went upstairs.

Lots of people have mentioned this place. We finally got to check it out.

We've been meaning to go to a few places in Esco, Stone Brewery among them. We'll have to add Lucio's to that list.
