I saw some film on him and he looks GREAT - but, it's all against competition. I think I remember him playing the Shriner's game but I'm not sure.
He was at the Senior Bowl and M. Mayock and D. Jeremiah talked about him, pretty funny stuff, Mayock said Cappa had “the nastiest tape he's ever seen” and talked about him "throwing guys outta the club" (like a bouncer) Jeremiah had some pretty funny comments too.

Here's the video - enjoy!
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-draft/...I-ve-ever-seen

They moved him from LT during practices to LG during the game, he looked pretty good, I don't think he's expected to go very high in the draft, an interesting guy to keep an eye on. I'm not excited by the top OT's early this yr like O. Brown etc., but this guy could make some sense lower at OT/OG.

*EDIT* a day later, I wanted to add these without another post ....

1st day of Senior Bowl practice south OL vs. DL, Alex Cappa has a couple of reps and the broadcast crew talks about him:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7p7eyiovdE

Worth watching this drill, it's entertaining, the south (Texans) OL coach puts his guys through a drill to see them use their hands and feet independently while tossing a couple tennis balls up, Alex Kappa juggles 3 doing this drill.

I don't even have the words.

Fort Hays State was more than I could bear. This is a close second.

Oy Vey !

Agree. If we haven't picked an OT by round 6 or so, if Cappa's on the board, why not?

Like, Connor Williams, Alex Cappa is an OG.
It was Will Hernandez we talked to in Mobile.
Height can be a deterrent.
Powerful hand work.
Good mobility.
Okung. Feeney. Lamp. In.
Franklin. Dunlap. Out.
IOL !!
Also, Meyer likes athletic Olinemen.
Price. Daniels. Wynn. Jamarco.
over
Orlando. McGlinchey. Parker. O'Neill. Kolton.
While not rigid, this is our model.

Yep. Center early, OT Jamarco Jones in round 4 sounds about right, unless his stock goes up, then might have to pick him in round 3.

I keep reading good things about Jamarco Jones... don't know why he's not mentioned more around here.

Jamarco is fundamentally sound if not spectacular.
He improved during the '17 season.
Tradah has been all over this.
JJ appears to be a Pat Meyer prototype for the outside.

Brandon Parker though is athletic good feet and lateran quickness right? He would be worth developing if picked in the later rounds over Cappa. Brandon is from a small school granted but performed well against college all stars in the Senior Bowl. We will see how quick he is at the combine. A good pick if we pass on OT in the 1st round.

I agree. I'd consider, Cappa a definite value pick late in the draft as a guard. Nasty mentality reminiscent of Kris Dielman and from the practice video Alex has pretty good hand eye coordination juggling three balls and moving laterally with ease over the other linemen lol.

Notice coach gave him just two balls he asked for three and performed the task easily under pressure. Unless they planned that for the scouts out there. Tells you something about the kid.

Williams may have been the most dominant LT in the 2016 college season. Got hurt early 2017. He'll be drafted in the 1st to play OT.
