chargers might want to sign perryman/verrett /williams (both)next year; gordon's pay gets bumped up. hunter henry in two years

Telesco would offer a 1 year contract if it would sell. chargers cap space at slightly more than 12 million.

Would rather have Hankins than CJ.

@eric.d.williams: Several fans have asked about Johnathan Hankins as a possibility for the Bolts in free agency.

At 6-foot-2 and 325 pounds, Hankins is more of a two-gap, nose tackle in a 3-4 scheme, which is one of the reasons the Indianapolis Colts moved on from the Ohio State product only one year after signing him to a three-year, $27 million deal.

Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus is moving Indianapolis to a 4-3 defense that relies more on speed and movement up front, similar to what the Chargers employ. For that reason, I don't see Hankins as a scheme fit.

Default All of you that were hankering for Hankins

Did you notice him in Sundays game against the raiders? If you didn't it's because he didn't have any solo tackles, no sacks, no tackles for loss, no forced fumbles, not even credited with one hurry. He was only credited with two assists - that was it.

Do you still wish TT had spent big bucks to add him to our team?
Is it possible that the Chargers brain trust knows more about who to sign than we do?

I made a “tongue in cheek” comment about how dominant he was in the game day thread. One of his fanboys actually agreed!

He’s a big fat paper weight at this point.

I have to give props to @eric_d_williams (who i'm sure was as tired of hearing it as i was) for fielding non-stop questions about Jonathan Hankins for months and saying that Mebane was not the problem. Brandon has definitely stepped up this year and Liuget looks slim and strong.

Liuget was fired up in the trenches. He played really well making up for lost time.
