If that is the direction we want to go terms of player type and round, my preference is Justin Jackson, Northwestern.

JJ is quite similar to AW in many ways, but less wiggle and more KR potential.

Ekeler is not a KR.
Interesting. Wadley didn't do much at the Senior Bowl. Maybe 3rd down RB...? Ekeler to be replaced...?

Just draft Penny... Backup, 3rd down, KR/PR... and be done with it.

Agreed. Belichick seems to always set the trend as he coaches. He led the two tight end sets with Hernandez and Gronk. Now he has 3 running backs that rotate by situation and excel at what they do.

Eagles have done the same thing with their rotation of 3 running backs. Lynn may strive to do the same. Besides, I thought the CMB was up in arms with Travis play on special teams. Granted he is super fast but he's made some bone headed decisions and his toughness is being questioned.

Penny is a difference maker and he's from Norwalk. Just down road from Carson. He was a legend in high school football lore. He may draw fans for the Spanos Fight for LA campaign.

AW ? IDK.
Gordon gallops.
Ekeler glides.
We either need someone
who hops
OR
someone
who plows.

BTW. We also talked to a particular Olineman.
He is called "KingKong playing football."
The Chargers may just select @17
Will Hernandez OLG UTEP.
To be our new
Louis Vasquez
OR
Kris Dielman.

Got him. Bo Scarborough, Alabama. Should be available in mid rounds. Big, bruising back, perfect for short yardage situations. No more of this 4 straight downs on the goal line with Gordie up the gut for nada...

i like Hernandez but top 20? he's definitely in the top 40 (round 2 range) but i'm having a hard time with him at #17. Davenport DE looked awesome in practice and also unblockable in the game as well. Harrison Phillips also toyed with some Olinemen during practice.

One play and Gordon goes down.....what do we have then????......Kind of a scary proposition. Penny early(er) or Bo late(er), I like the addition there.......

Or who lurks in the FA market??? We have to add something.......
