This just shows what a joke the whole move is, you get rid of a whole load of people in one area and try to recruit people in another. Quite funny really. That's the American franchise system where people are supposed to root on logos and jerseys and location and fans aren't apparently important.

Is that why that stadium in London is full to capacity every time the NFL shows up?

And think of all the photo ops for the politicians sports-loving public-servants!!

I'm curious. Was there ever a rally like this before the Chargers move?

The best Offense is a good Defense.

London is a cosmopolitan city, there's people from all over the world who will turn up if the price is right for a few one off games. Hosting a team is an entirely different story and depends on long term support.

The scrapping of the World League/NFL Europe in the past is just more evidence that will make anyone skeptical of any real long term commitment from the NFL. Many in the NFL are more interested in short term greed even though they are rich already, that naturally results in short term support. You reap what you sow.
