............Freak Approved.
And that's assuming they let Twill, who is an UFA now, leave for a deal elsewhere, which is probable. But Benji still has a year left on his deal.

I was talking about his LB Wilson.

With injury, pass defense, and future cap health concerns, the Chargers are outbid.
Oh, you have Bye Bye Perryman and hello Mack Wilson............ok.......lots of eval ahead of us. CRAZY how things change during the combine. Just crazy.

Deebo replaces Tyrell and Benjamin. I waive Benjamin. Deebo can go deep. Artavis and Cantrell are on the back burner.

Wilson is our best move, as Jeremiah understands.

Germaine Pratt and Terrell Hanks are the other possibilities later, but not as good of options.

Devin White.
Mack Wilson.
There's your well rounded MIKEs.

Have a look at the talent in this draft.
I will soon. Going into it looking at what prevented up from beating the pats. Again.

Draft the top DT, MLB or FS on the board and go from there.

IF there is a Derwin James sort player on the board then go that way but first things first. What were we clearly lacking in. Our Running game wasn't were it needed to be either so that's an issue as well. On to the draft.

You've almost got me convinced, Wood, for Deebo in round 2, IF the Bolts clearly have him rated well above any of the other avails at FS, OT, ILB, and DT...I'm still not sold totally on Deebo because of his injury history, AND, if you send Deebo deep, Rivers is STILL going to need pass pro for that extra second or two in the pocket...so we're back to drafting an OT or maybe even signing a solid OG if we can upgrade over Feeney, Schofield and Lamp...

BPA and PON are judgement calls. Being a good fit with the Chargers is definitely a part of judging BPA for the Chargers.
It is as much art as science, luck plays a role too. No one is in a better position than Telesco to make the call.
I have some opinions but mainly wish him luck. We have a very good roster & coaching staff who appear to be in a position to compete for a SB title in the 2019 postseason....IF TT makes the right choices and IF we have some good luck.

I want a stud MLB. FA or draft, I don't care but FA ups the odds of a plug & play Pro Bowl level starter. I think.
After that maybe FS.
Definitely build depth at OL/DL preferably by getting a guy or guys who bump 2018 starter(s) to backup/rotation.
All that doesn't exclude just getting talent at any position as long as Lynn & staff like him.

Let me add some clarity here...

Note that if we cut Benjamin, we will outright save $6.5 million in 2019.

Now with that said... here are his stats for 2018...

12 receptions for 186 yards and 1 TD, and 7 rushes for 41 yards and 0 TDs.

... and for STs...

5 punt returns for 16 yards and 0 TDs, and 1 kick return for 17 yards and 0 TDs.

Still feel like he's worth $6.5 million this year?
