This Chargers draft class seemed like birthday presents

The big things that stand out to me is that we Drafted heavy on defensive players who could Tackle in Collage.

It was clear last year we could not tackle.

The other thing seems to be fast guys so they can swarm tackle.

In theory we have improved in positions of need like S, DT and add backups.

On Offense Lynn. Just need to get out of his own way and trust in Rivers to Lead. This year if OL is in tact Rivers, Allen Gordon will all be successful in Whiz offense.

I'm really excited to watch this team play and hope the coaches can develop our young players faster to help contribute this year.

Was away the past several days and I couldn't wait to log onto CMB.

I know 5 years down the line will determine the quality of this draft class, but rn it seems celebratory. Man-o-man. TT & Co nailed it. Exciting times.

Grabbing a tackle would've put it over the top, but we cant have everything. 🙃
Fortunately for us, it looks like next year will be a heavy OT class if the mockees declare.

What I liked about the draft is that there was an organizational philosophy and plan behind the picks. This is how successful teams draft. The Chargers just may have turned a very good to excellent defense into a potentially dominant one. The picks on offense made sense too.

Great point, Jac! Pick by pick, you could see why and where each one fits, especially for Bradley's fast, swarming, gang-tackling D. Sweet!

Will Richardson had DUI and at least one other infraction that cost him a game. Bolts seem very Leary about guys with off field issues.
Jones seemed like a solid 4th/5th round prospect. Guess Qberry was higher on the Bolts board.

If the Raiders had drafted James at No. 15, and assuming the Bills drafted Tremaine Edmunds, whom they traded into the 16 spot to take, who do you think TT would have drafted at 17?

I say Kolton Miller or Rashaan Evans.
