The pundits are strident and numerous in praising the Chargers draft.

They have advanced knowledge about scheme fits and prospect skillsets.

The NFL Network dudes were ecstatic, in real time.

They immediately see gusD's, Whis', AL's, and TT's plan in crystal clear 4k Ultra HD.

This draft was transformational, particularly on defense.

The stealth improvement is IOL, and this is a big deal (why I touted Price).

Last year's brilliance of Lamp/Feeney was boosted by Pouncey and Quessenberry. Got ya covered dude.

Adding a talent such as James is just huge, with the impact felt in many positions of the defence.

I hope the plan isn't so transparent. I do think the pundits, and opposing team staffs, see the versatility in the Bolt defence.

James is the only drafted player that has taken a starting job instantly, the others will need to beat out the current starter.

Are you seeing a starting OL of Okung/Feeney/Pouncy/Quessenberry/Lamp ? That seems like the only way Q has an opportunity to see the field.

We have much better depth at IOL.
MB That is a good starting point.

Chitown * good to great day two, albeit not as sure 'bout Roquan as most all y'all
Cincy * like Price and Bates, but suspect they may have whiffed/missed (bungled) on the next coupla few
Cleveland * am ok w/like their first four picks and guessing one or the both of Callaway and/or Genard really adds to things as well.... pretty good draft
Jerry * close to stunning haul.... very well done Jerrah
Elway * dude absolutely slayed it, as thinkin' he's got @least six solid contributors and prolly more
Detroit * a solid w/Ragnowrok, Da'Shawn Hand and Crosby, and Kerryon might be something as well
Colts * obviously Quenton and Braden Smith are big gets, and know peoples really like Darius Leonard, and.... woulda liked to see them get Connor Williams
KC * Nnadi and Watts are very solid and guessing the other top picks are alright too
Miami * like both Minkah and Gesicki, albeit not sure they did much after that
NE * like Wynn and Michel and of course they ended up w/Braxton Berrios
Giants * Barkeley and Hernandez is whoah enough, and might have very few busts there
Jets * is Darnold going to go the way of other 'SC QBs in the NFL ??
Vegas * Key and Hurst are a bit risky but may pay off, and there are others there
Tampa * Vea and Carlton Davis
Titans * only four picks, but don't think any of 'em go bust
Redskins * Guice in the second, Settle in the fifth

I was on board with Vea, Payne, etc at one point, but when you think about it, this was a very solid pick and it's all about the personnel they're working with.

Derwin adds to an already solid secondary.

Chargers are going to be deadly. You watch.

When all is said in done I believe this will be one of the best draft classes that we've had since the turner/sproles draft year... I bet we get 3-4 impact players out of this draft that puts us over the top as a team. I do believe we can become dangerous now...

that's good enough for me. i remember the final 6 years of aj/norv when nobody would say that.

james has star potential
still don't know about nwosu
k. white & j. jone's floor is solid starter
don't like the Q pick
don't know about cantrell/ceiling is a valuable role player
like j jackson - valuable rotational back

personally will give Justin Jones the benefit of the doubt as he had a good SB and seems like he can spell Corey as our undertackle, albeit still wondering if and when we might ever get ourselves a NT.... (do suspect that Steven Richardson has a real chance to do something as an UDFA).

and wasn't a Harrison Phillips nor Josey Jewell guy, so not losing any sleep over them, albeit do suspect that Dorance Armstrong is gonna turn into a player.

Nwosu is another story tho, as really think he was/is a day three talent, and even then woulda passed on him for others, and that's not to mention who we did leave on the board @48 >> Connor Williams, Anthony Miller, Jessie Bates, Isaiah Oliver, Guice, Carlton Davis, Nnadi, Michael Gallup and others I'm sure, and.... one word: ouch !!
So basically the chargers made the mistake of not drafting exactly the way you wanted or hoped. Am I wrong?

P.S I'm sorry your fantasies didn't come true

Certainly, we all had our own favorites. And quite honestly, the Chargers draft looked very different that most (all) of ours. Who knows whether this group turns out. We all hope it does. There's no point in grading it now. Time will be the judge.
