Also, Cardale is a lot faster than I though. He had a nice scramble where he almost ran through a LB.

Well, that rules Cardale out. Geno is ahead of Cardale, but his pocket awareness is sorely lacking. Makes too many unforced errors. The Cards game was classic Geno. Makes 2-3 nice completions, then an error. I'll say this in Geno's defense, he didn't get much help from our 2nd string O line--way too much pressures/sacks, and a ton of penalties. After Rivers plays his 1-2 series next week, Geno deserves to follow him with some 1st string O-line help. That will be a true test.

Maybe because the other OT's were even worse than Tevi. Not that's scary...

As our swing tackle, Tevi needs reps at OLT.

What matters is how Sam performs with Rivers,
which is a product of playcalling, play selection, audibles, opponent and game plan.

I want to see 11 personnel (at least YOU comprehend the ramifications of this), with KA (DNP), MW (inexperienced), and TW (DNP) all out there. This will influence all aspects of our offense.

Hopefully AL has evolved as far as what fingerprints, exactly, he will put on our offense.

Our best personnel package includes the three mentioned WRs and does not include Culkin, Watt or Bowman. PS Game #1. Experimentation.

But by all means,
Guru,
get in on the backup QB hysteria.

It's a thing, yunno.

I liked what i saw of Tevi in the first half. Evidently, he got abused in the 2nd half against lesser comp (which i didn't see).

Tevi looked good when he knew his assignment. A few times he didn't, which lead to problems.

I was not at all impressed with Cardale Jones or Geno Smith in the first half.

I saw Shimonek at end of game & he looked decent: too little to evaluate. The last drive seemed to be sustained by defensive penalties.

Well that certainly will not be either Smith or Jones...

Lets face it the whoever decided to grab Geno and Jones needs to reexamine their choices cuz both suck as backups and will not win a game for us against starters period
