Default What about a trade with the Cheatriots?

Malcom Brown is available and they need a receiver...

They know Tyrell is available per TT's announcement this off season.

Brown is 1st round talent with starter/ playoff experience. Well coached. A young player at 24 but very seasoned with Super Bowl experience. If we pick him up could Mebane be expendable? Patriots will likely seek Williams and a draft pick.

Which receiver are you considering? We're not exactly "loaded" at the position...

Trading a WR to NE is a dangerous proposition. Unless you want to watch the SuperBowl where the commentators say "Can you believe the Chargers traded this guy away".

Brady has a history of taking other team's scraps and turning them into Pro Bowlers.

Anthony Lynn at 4-6 before the 2017 Thanksgiving game in Dallas:
"I am not afraid of the big picture. Coaches preach about a game at a time, and, of course, that is correct. But I want our team to know that everything is in front of them."

That's the reason we trade. Your only seeing how the Cheatriots will benefit like they did in the past ala Rodney Harrison that trade hurt. Junior Seau was at the tail end of his career.

Brady is too at the tail end of his career. At some point father time will step in and remind him that he's getting older. This looks like a good opportunity getting a young talented DT to rotate in while learning the scheme for the first month of the season. I like Malcolm Brown over Hankins. He will instantly make our defensive line better since he's in shape ready to go.
