I fully agree and I want to mention that it paid off to stay put. Let's give credit to Tom Telesco for this great addition to the Bolts.

The #3 defense just got a bit better!

If you have a decent QB class, then players get pushed down. It's great when you don't need a QB to start right away like us. At least for the time being. The same thing happened in 2012 when Melvin Ingram dropped to us.

Note: I say this despite wanting a developmental QB and did think about Mason Rudolph in the 3rd before Pittsburgh traded up for him.

Kudos to those here who predicted it and Daniel Jeremiah! The secondary appears to be set with or without Verrett-who could make it one of the best in history if he stays healthy and is back to Pro Bowl form. Putting faith in Justin Jones and Liuget...For me it's all about speed next draft to continue to build a SB defense.
