ALL done this year.
Also the only team to cause a John Harbaugh coached team to be one and done in the playoffs.

Another great post. And what an opportunity! To continue their road to the SB, the Chargers have to beat their nemesis, the best club of the last decade and maybe ever.

So many players whose career legacy would be buttressed by a win tomorrow, and beyond. Deserving players, like PR and AG, who play the game the "right" way. It still guts me that guys like Fouts, Joiner, etc never even got to the SB.

That was my point...all the streaks the Chargers broke this year. patty cakes streak comes to a screeching halt as domination of shoxborough is completed.

The only clear reasons I hear from pundits for the Pats winning are:

1. Its in New England
2. tom brady plays better in big games than Phillip Rivers
3. It will be cold and the Chargers come from Los Angeles
4. Melvin Gordon is dinged (& the Chargers won't take full advantage of the
Patriots weak run defense)

then there is the hopeful,

1. New England Offensive line traditionally handles good pass rushes
2. Chargers give up a lot of yards to running backs in the passing game
3. New England d-backfield is a strength; therefore, they might shut down the Charger receivers.

Once again, the performance of New England's interior Oline will be a key.
Mason is good and they play well together.

They also all have short arm lengths. I can see Justin Jones getting his hands first on the tall thin Joe Thuney and repeatedly pushing him back into Tom Brady's lap - not letting Brady step up.

tom brady and new england have scored a lot of post season points off of tiring defensive lines near the end of halves who mount no pass rush.

Chargers have Rochelle, Philon, & Justin Jones who can effectively rush from the interior

& Bosa, Ingram & Nwosu who can rush off the edge.

Chargers win a lot of games in crunch time because of depth and less fatigue.

The patriots have lost to lesser teams.
Tomorrow they get dominated by a better one
