I think Suh is still very good. Perhaps the best DT in the league, BUT, I don't want to see the Bolts spend that kind of $$ on a free agent. Use it to sign 2/3 free agents that can help.

Remember when AJ went all in on David Boston or more recently, TT over-paid Franklin?

All that money for the best DT in the league? How can he be called that when he gives up on plays and sometime disappears in games? Not worth it. With two talented ends we just need a young hungry DT who aspires to be as good as our ends. Not an overplayed, bad attitude, quitter.

whats ironic is that i was the one talking about the future, staying away from big priced FAs, drafting a QB high and winning a ring with Bosa as our defensive window.

I then focused on winning now during the rivers-window

and as soon as i do, people want to avoid what would be the biggest win-now move of the offseason.

Suh is not the same player he was in detroit, but i bet hes the same player from Miami, which is a whole other level from Luiget and or philon

locker room concerns? please. our guys a grown men, led by a grown man in coach Lynn. im not worried about Suh's locker room influence on our guys.
Suh is about playing violent and making money, and ill take that kind of culture over the party-time with phillips/cromartie culture.

of course, the only caveat would be the money, i dont want Suh if it means we cant resign our young guys.

Does he even have a rep for being bad in a locker room?

Sign and pay the man, TT

What I meant is being over the hill. Mebane was good for one year and then went on the decline. Suh is in his 30s. He probably has a couple of good years left. I'm bigger on getting a young player at the DT/NT positions to be the starter.
