The rumor is the Giants want 2 first round picks for him. I would NOT do that.

OBJ is working on his worldwide brand. NYC is a perfect place for him. Not the profile of a Chargers player at all.

Nothing. I would give them nothing.

OBJ is a media and locker room distraction.

I said this before. He is not worth the two First round picks. Not with him coming off an injury, the distraction that he causes, and the contract dispute that arises. No team would be in the right mind to pay that much unless OBJ truly is the missing piece to a Super Bowl run. It's just not ideal to invest so much into a player like him. His talent is insane but you can only expect him to take a step back from his injury. He wouldn't fit in our locker room as well. We have guys who party but not like him, our guys keep it low key and I'm surprised that with us being in LA, there hasn't been any off field issues. Just shows that our players are smart and not getting into any drama. Bring in OBJ and you open a can of worms.

Totally agree with this. Even with the added drama and distraction he brings, he is on the last year of his rookie contract and I'm sure is expecting a major payday... and he's already expressed his willingness to hold out.

We talked about this in the mock draft but the only precedence I can think of is the Browns acquiring Jaime Collins for a 3rd.

Maybe Sheldon Richardson is a good example too, Seahawks gave up Kearse and a 2nd, and look how spectacularly that blew up in their face with Richardson walking in FA after just 1 season there.

I would say a 2nd is maybe right for value, but then he has to be a locker room fit and I really don't think that's us. Let the Rams have him since they are more concerned with marketing then they are about building a long-term championship contender.

MW and a 2nd. He’s learned his lesson. He’ll treat field goal kicking nets with love.

OBJ......

For two 1st rd picks.....never going to happen

Last year of rookie contract.....big reason to say no.

Fit in the room.....even bigger reason to say no.

Fit in the long term vision.....he doesn't.
