Ian Thomas is a player in the Witten mold. Strong blocker and can contribute in the passing game as well. he would go great with HH for many years to come. I doubt TT would take Hurst in round 4 with reports that almost all teams have him as undraftable. Still needs LBs.

Derrick was just selected by the Chiefs. Nice value in the 3rd round. Projected as high as 2nd. We shall see him on opening day. You going down Derrick.

Jewell, Griffin, Lauletta, Crosby, Jones and Hines worth a look. Hurst has really fell. Guess details in his medical we're telling.

Cheers for update didn't watch second and third round as they start too late over here in UK and just went off nfl.com's list Hurst dropping so far really is a shock to be fair but, i think he is worth a risk in 4th or 5th may just be something that needs managing reps wise.

Lots of talent left.
Lean away from QBs, WRs, CBs, TEs
And we should find some gems

Guessing we'll see all offense this day... I'm thinking OT Jamarco Jones, a running back Bo Scarbrough, and TE Troy Fumagalli.

LB Josey Jewell would be nice but doubt they go defense again.

Another late round (UDFA) LB is Chris Worley, he did great in the Shrine Game. Wouldn't mind another DT in the 7th: McKenzie seems like a good developmental pick, hell I would take Hurst with our pick in the 7th also. Probably gonna take one of those OT though that we had visits with. Another offensive lineman that performed well in the Shrine Game was C/OG Brian Allen from Michigan State. Should be available in the 6th for us. Doubt he lasts til our 7th pick.

Telesco said "I was just walking down the hall and Whisenhunt is staring at me."

That is hilarious. He said he didn't plan it this way, its just how his board fell.

A target for me hereonout. Posted about Matthew Thomas months ago. Definitely can contribute at ILB.

Matthew Thomas*, ILB, Florida State
Height: 6-4. Weight: 227. Arm: 33.
40 Time: 4.58.
Projected Round (2018): 4-6.

4/25/18: Thomas is a fast and athletic linebacker who has a good skill set, but teams evaluators have said they are grading Thomas on the third day of the 2018 NFL Draft because of a lack of instincts and awareness. In 2017, Thomas totaled 85 tackles with two passes batted, two sacks and an interception. The senior has a good athletic skill set and probably could help himself in pre-draft workouts, but his 2017 tape didn't impress evaluators. He had another year of eligibility, but decided to enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

9/1/17: Team sources say that Thomas has a first-round skill set and a lot of upside to develop. In 2016, he totaled 77 tackles with 11 tackles for loss, two passes batted and 3 forced fumbles.
