The Ravens of course have one of the best kickers in Justin Tucker and a real good but aging punter (36) in Sam Koch, I don't know if he makes the team or not, if not, the Chargers should consider working him out.

A few of his kicks with Ravens:

Hes demonstrated to us that the talent he has can be used on the punt team and the field goal team, Ravens ST Cord Jerry Rosburg said. .... they originally brought him in as a P but found they believe he can do either at the NFL level.

Go Chargers!

Seeing as how we know D Kaser isn't that great of a FG kicker from the Dallas game, this might not be a bad idea. Like the saying goes, "the more you can do."

Exactly, until they get the kicker job figured out, A.L. mentioned the possibility of carrying 2 kickers, pick one of the current guys if this guy is available and make him the 2nd, if either kicker #1 or the punter pulled a hammy or something this guy could step in if active on game day.

It seems pretty rare for a guy to do both jobs well, maybe he could be the Chargers long term answer @ kicker?, I don't know, the Ravens may keep him though, their punter is 36.

Go Chargers!

I think Bridgewater would be a nice pick up if we we're to drop Jones with the intention of eventually releasing Geno Smith. The same can be said for DeShone Kizer...he too would have to get caught up with the playbook but I like that he has starting experience with the Browns last year. He is currently the 3rd QB for the Packers.

Caraun Reid DT Cowboys...played with us briefly and did well before getting injured. He can rush pretty well at DT knows our system.

That's all I got...ILB will be nice to have. I think we lack depth at ILB.

If we're talking QB. I want Teddy Bridgewater but he's not getting cut. More likely to be traded for since he has starter potential. Not sure about the other positions listed.

Yeah and that's the problem. He wouldn't want to be a backup here. That's why I think the Jets will trade him to a QB needy team or keep him on the roster and cut McCown.
