The whole team made mistakes. Rivers mental mistakes at end were near fatal. He knows it. He already said it. Take off your fan boy glasses and see things clearly

Rivers will always take the heat, because that's the kind of leader he is.

But I think it says more than anything that all of you just assume the offense had to keep the ball there. If you don't think our defense should stop that Broncos offense with less than two minutes to go on their own 10 yard line, then why are we even discussing this season? Our team is hopeless, regardless of who is playing QB.

Of course they should. But when your offense has a chance to finish the game they should. Or our team is hopeless.

Rivers took the heat because he knew he made a mistake. A boneheaded play. A rookie mistake. You wanna give him a big sloppy kiss? Go ahead.

Philip’s gaffs killed us today. Plenty of times when he’s the hero. Today, he was the goat.

Boy...some heat in here after a painful loss. When we we're on a wining streak our threads were serene and quiet. The claws came out after a painful loss ...does this make it a pretty loss since we we're so close to winning in the end?

One thing for sure Rivers took the questions from the media answered them as best he can and he didn't take the bait. He didn't throw MG or any teammate under the bus. I appreciate Rivers leadership in moments of adversity...it's done moving forward.

MVP my ass, he shouldn't have ever been in the talk. Definitely need the win next Sunday but also put up a big score to gain our confidence back before with head to P.A

Dang Rivers is getting crushed today(rightfully so). He’s had worse games but yesterday was ever more painful because it was the end of the game when he coulda sealed it. Wth was up with that play call though. That’s the best we can dial up? Pretty sad. I do hope Rivers writes this game down in his mental notebook and uses it to fuel him. He’s gonna have good practice at overcoming adversity down the stretch against the Steelers, ravens, chiefs, not to mention broncos again at Denver. Statemet game coming against Arizona

Rivers had a bad game.

Even on a bad day, he's still a pretty good QB.

His bad day was 401 passing yards, 2 TDs, 2 INT, and 3 sacks. This is a good day for about half the starting QBs in the league.

Unfortunately, given that he's essentially a coach on the field, we lost the game in large part because of him. Von Miller must be in his head.

The coaching staff must've diagnosed something to have Barksdale start over Tevi, but in hindsight that was a bad move too.

I think so too...they saw film of Von Miller in full sprint chasing Mahomes all over the place. They didn't want to have fly by them like a speeding bullet. How did we neutralize the Seahawks Clark...the Titans Derrick Morgan, the Browns Myles Garrett?

Barksdale had Von Miller in his head...maybe he had bad dream the night before. Same with Tevi...we need to see how the Chiefs neutralized our tandem last year. I know they pulled linemen to block the ends on run plays, sweeps...took the game to them. The penalties was key...got us into 3rd and long situations and that favors the Broncos.
