Isn't that the usual schtick of the OP?

But seriously, will be tough. He has to win out and make a run.
History usually proves me right, but I am remaining optimistic. This team reminds me a lot of the SB team under Ross. Of course that came to a crashing halt when they met the 49ers.

Hoping they win the #1 seed, would be nice to have everyone come through the high school football field they play on, lol.

^this^. If PR plays well over the next two games... perhaps gets to 4500 Yards, 36 TDs, 8 INTs with 70% Comp%.... gets the team to 13-3 and Mahomes plays a less than normal game and loses in Seattle... then I think PR could pull it off. Having two giant 2nd half comebacks on the road on National TV in Pitt and KC has given him serious momentum.

Agreed. Keep the stats and the MVP of the league for Mahomes. He can have all the publicity he wants.

So long as we have our guy earn Super Bowl MVP for the world to see is what matters in the end. It's been a special season so far. Loving the moments created and like fine wine it's getting better! Be great to have the monkey off Rivers back and no one can take it away from him. To have the championship to share with his good friend Gates would be great to see.

Go Rivers...go Bolts.

Those wasted two pass attempts to Gates at the goal line were beyond pathetic. It's as if Whiz had to insert them, because Gates is Gates. He looked old and slow. The passes were tossed away because Gates was nowhere near open, on both plays to him. Sad and pathetic.

Whiz, stop with trying to relive 15 years ago when Gates was Gates and Rivers to Gates in the endzone for a TD was a common thing. It ain't now. Got it? Good.
Agreed, Gates time has passed as an elite player.

But he has brought a lot to this season by showing the younger guys he can still be clutch when really need.

Gates deserve love for always doing his best and being a all time great charger.

I'm sure having Rivers and gates continue to work hard for a championship helps the young guy understand how hard it is to get.

Thank you Gates and Rivers for your passion

There's been heartache and pain
I don't know
If I can face it again
Can't stop now
I've traveled so far
To change my lonely trophy case

I want to know what a SB is
I want you to show me

Eh.... that sounds like we want to know what it is.... because we're not going to find out what it is....

I'll take Queen's "Rock You" for the road to the SB.... and then "We are the Champions" for afterwards.

Default Is Rivers getting a noodle arm?

The past two games, I've seen at least three long balls underthrown by Rivers. Two were picks, one, we got away with. First, in the Chiefs game, opening play:

Twill clearly has a step on Nelson here, but the rock is underthrown, Twill has to slow down, and Nelson gets the pick.

Second, Rivers to Mike Dub in Chiefs game:

Mike Dub clearly has a couple steps on Nelson, and a few more on Berry.

Fortunately, Dub slowed down, still made the catch, but we dodged a bullet on that one.

Third, opening play of Ravens game, Rivers throws to Mike Dub:

Dub had a step on Brandon Carr, but underthrow resulted in a pick.

IMHO, since Rivers has had trouble underthrowing the long ball lately, they better stick with short or medium range passes instead of risking the pick on the bomb. We dodged a couple of bullets in the Chefs game and still won, but had that opening throw to Dub been good, it could have gone to the house, or at least a long gainer. If we're to win in the playoffs, need to go with higher percentage plays, instead of forcing the rock deep with Rivers's arm apparently going noodle, at least on the long ball. Other explanations are that Rivers didn't get properly set, the pressure and the wind. All I know is that the long ball for Rivers and the Bolts is a much lower percentage play than the short to medium pass. Bolts need to play higher percentages here.

Seems like a reach.....Rivers has been solid all season, his arm is not the problem.

You are partly right...Rivers was solid most of the season, then the past few games is when the underthrows have happened a lot more...
