I will miss both of you.....hopefully there is a change in decision, or another solution comes about for this board.
What's enjoyable is the Canadians actually thinking they are french. The French from what I can tell don't want the canadians even speaking french cause it offends them.

The best Offense is a good Defense.

I think the main problem is that I am super jealous of the other teams that have an offensive head coach like Sean Payton, Sean McVay, and Andy Reid. We have failed to get Rivers that type of coach. Instead we got Norv and McCoy who haven't shown the consistency that the other three have in terms of leadership and innovation. So here's hoping that Lynn and Whis (even though he's only an OC) can prove us all wrong and somehow jumpstart this offense with Rivers again.

Rutgers OLB, Asbury murderer, skateboarder, or boxer?

In Norvs Prime he was above average, even MM and Whiz had the offense playing great until injuries. What makes the coach great is overcoming the injury bug and coaching up the backup.

Lynn's system is to run the ball and play great Defense. That is why they go into vanilla mode in 4Th qtr.
Until the Charger get a great defense, Lynn will continue to underperform.

IMO, opposing Ds facing the Chargers merely have to study game film from any year since Whiz has been at the helm. It is the same offense with no wrinkles. Execution has gotten better because the OL has improved and we are better at the skill positions. Watching KC, Rams and Saints this last week and there are tons of plays they run that leave their skill guys wide open due to play design... The most common mismatch they create results in a LB being forced to cover a WR. The Saints also throw in several packages that have Kamara and Ingram on the field at the same time... We have Ekeler and Gordon... why are they never on the field at the same time? All that being said, the worst part about the Whiz offense is the way it goes conservative in the 4th.... particularly when they need to run out the clock. The second they go to one WR sets you know it is going to be a terrible play call.... it is either a run up the gut against a stacked box... or a play action roll out to one of our least athletic pass catchers. Go 3-wide with Allen in the slot and throw the slant to Allen or throw the back-shoulder to MDub... both are so hard to defend. Next time they are in the same position they were in at the end of the Donk game I really want to see a play call that we have never seen before. They have to know that this is their Achilles heal... right?

I do remember getting frustrated not putting woodshed and Gordon on the field together.

Yep ole Whizzenator is predicable. This offense with these weapons is being woefully under utilized.Time for something new.Like I've stated before I'm not a football genius like some guys on here truly believe they are and if I can tell what the play will be pre snap so will the damn defense across from em.Cmon man!

Who on CMB thinks they are a genius ?
Those who post slightly detailed defensive schemes,
and infer that they can do it better than gusD ?
LOL.

As for myself,
clearly someone you are referring to,
and in a negative light,
I spend hours study football,
especially personnel, schemes, and trends,
and share my thoughts,
quite often to the sound of crickets chirping.

Are you expressing frustration
that more people don't respond to your posts,
and agree with them,
is that what's going on here ?

I respect that you are a fellow loyal Charger fan,
and that you are passionate about winning.

If we seem condescending to you,
maybe that is your issue.

We have certainly improved
our turnover ratio
with Whis
and gusD
and continuity.

7-3 Record.
Power Ranking ~ #6.
Frontrunner for WildCard #1.
We are hitting crunch time
in this season
right now.

Enjoy the game on Sunday, boltgang74.
I like forward to your comments in the OGDT.

wood.
