Creativity comes not just from great play design but when to use it. That's the first part. After that, it needs to be executed.



Sean McVay's scheme, for example, looks very vanilla on the surface and something that you can think you can predict presnap as well. The problem is that to the defense, there's enough of a wrinkle that it confuses them.

I said it in the immediate aftermath of the Rams Chiefs game but what really struck me was how quickly the Rams got to the line of scrimmage, snapped the ball and ran their plays. No monkey i g around with pre snap reads or audibles. Just do it. Fast break offense. I wish we did more of this
