Dont know if its been said earlier.... but i hope the bolts hire Lincoln riley the head coach of oklahoma if Whis leaves. That guy is going to be the next big thing in the NFL....

Especially with the NFL taking steps to become more college-esque

Talk about using both sides of your mouth.
Honestly, can't believe he's pulling this nonsense again.

Lincolin Riley is going to be a HC in the NFL. Not an OC.

Lynn will probably call the plays going forward even if Stewart becomes OC. Though if anything, they'll probably promote someone who already is an offensive positional coach. I wonder if they look outside?

Obviously he has permission from the Chargers to do this, I wish it was next Mon after the game vs the Steelers, hard to focus 100% on prepping for the Chargers vs. Steelers while thinking about interviewing for another job.

I hope this doesn't linger from here till the end of the season, I wish Whiz well but the Chargers players/team deserve someone who'll be there 100% for them.

I don't know who's available at this time of yr should Whiz and the Chargers part ways .... Mike Mularkey? .... certainly not Mike McCoy - ha ha.

Go Chargers!
If they go outside, it'll probably be Todd Haley since he was OC under Whisenhunt and worked together with Lynn in Dallas.

I don't know who on the Chargers O staff could be OC material should Whiz and the Chargers part ways.

I also don't know who's out there with experience worthy of being Chargers OC, you mention Todd Haley, I don't know how he'd do, same goes with Mike Mularkey, slim pickings at this time of yr.

I hope this potential issue doesn't linger.

College season is just about done......

Coach Pete out there by Seattle would make an awesome OC in the NFL.

I don't think Whiz would leave until the season was over.

If he did leave before season we may have a bigger problem. Coaching issues

If he gets the job we should have a great pipeline into GT. Whiz will have some proready offensive talent in a pro style college O. Get insights into mental make-up, work ethic, leadership skills, etc.
