Pass pro is a nightmare for these guys.
Look at Gavin Escobar...drafted in round 2 by the Boys, now fighting to get back to NFL...

I sort of thought that was a head scratcher of a pick by Dallas. I liked Escobar. I wasnt sure he was a 2nd round graded TE however.

I like that it is essentially normal football rules and nice to have spring football. but... Fleet QB's are terrible. This was like watching a bad college game.

Well they did lose Josh Johnson. He actually looked pretty good for the Redskins.

Better yet, Fleet needs a decent RT who can pass pro...

This would be even more interesting if there were older star players like the ex NBA er's in the Big 3 do (ie. Allen Iverson) that still want to play and miss the game, not trying to get back into the NFL, like a Peyton Manning, etc. But I doubt there are many of them willing to take another concussion for peanuts.

I think the quality of play will improve after a few games. I bet a bunch of these guys get signed to offseason squads.

Yep...this new league is a nice showcase for a lot of the UDFA guys who take longer to develop into bona fide NFL players...and gives some of the former NFL'ers a second chance...
