Default 2019 mock draft

DT heaven...

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/...-quarterbacks/

“One thing to note is that there is some monster defensive line talent that could be available next year, including four players from Clemson alone. If the teams that drafted new franchise QBs this year struggle to win games in 2018, they should be well-positioned to land a blue-chip defender next year.“

Hopefully we'll be looking at QB more seriously...

who is RJ White ?? (barely followed cbssports after the departure of Rang/Brugler)

"Greedy" Williams to the Raiders.... perfect.

and don't see his name but will guess at this juncture that we are going tackle (albeit not sure if Andre Dillard is the guy) and that Isaiah Prince (Ohio State) is the most likely selection for us.... (there is also a Prince Teno Wanagho from Auburn.... wow).

personally am all about Bryce Love for us, and.... guessin' he's unlikely/a longshot for now.

coupla few other guys that I think will be in play include DT Christian Wilkins (Clemson) and prolly going back to the Notre Dame well @TE w/a good look see w/Alize Mack there.

far as QB goes, am a Jarrett Stidham fan, albeit guessing he goes before we have a real shot @him, and guessing again that if we do go QB 'twill be a late round developmental pick or another UDFA ??

Personally offended even looking at that mock! Dallas, GB, and Houston finishing better than us? Doubtful. That said. Huge year for DT, Clemson's D line should be fun to watch. Can we hold off on QB until Tua Tagovailoa comes out!

He's the guy who projected us taking Vander Esch at #17 in the last draft.

Still too early IMO. Hold out for 2 more years and let’s trade up for Lawrence.

Just my opinion, but I think Rivers is going to sign a three-year extension in the offseason and he will play through the 2021 season. That means he would play most of the 2021 season at age 39 (he'll turn 40 December 8th). That would be in line with him saying he doesn't plan on playing as long age-wise as Brees and Brady. If I'm the Chargers I would draft Phil's eventual replacement in 2020. That way hopefully he's ready to take over in 2022 and even if Phil decides to play one more season (2022), you still have the QB of the future on the team. Rodgers sat behind Favre for 3 years.
