I project Tyrell to be offered more money than the Chargers are willing to pay.

WR becomes a position of need, even with Cantrell & Scott.

There will be several WRs on the board at #60 with Round 1 or early Round 2 grades.

Samuel is a very fine football player and fits for us quite well.

I was diligent, considered everything I could think of
before posting my mock/comprehensive off season plan.

You are invited to do the same.

Agreed.

Samuel is more complete.
He can return kicks,
in the event that injury concerns
preclude King from doing so.

I believe this issue here is that many do not realize how good Deebo is.

Ourlads slathers.

Samuel is a talent, no doubt about it. He also has battled injuries, which is a concern. All things considered, I still don't think wideout is as great an area of need as FS, ILB, DT and OT.

do not subscribe to the philosophy of BPA at a position of need.... prefer to get players that I think make good Chargers and shape the team from there.

makes me nervous to speculate/make calculated guesses as to who can help us where.... prefer to have the gut/intuitive take on the player in addition to the scouting info/seal of approval.... truth is univisceral.

Did you just post that your first round pick isn't a gameday starter AND is behind a 1 year injured player on the chart ?

Just stop it with this talk. Best DT, MLB, FS on the board.

No, Mack Wilson @#28 starts at MIKE.

I project Denzel to be offered $$ by a team with cap space, lots of needs in the draft, and desirous of improved run defense.

With injury, pass defense, and future cap health concerns, the Chargers are outbid.

Tyrell will surely receive lucrative offers, and end up elsewhere.

Deebo is cheaper, and additionally more durable than Benjamin.

Our offense will only benefit from Deebo augmenting our other weapons.

We must outscore KC, NE, et al to win.

BTW, I address nearly all concerns, including the trenches, in my comprehensive off season plan.

LOL.

During Senior Bowl Week, and three months before the Draft, it is appropriate to consider a lot of things.

Have a look at the talent in this draft.
