Default List of media resources for LA Chargers coverage
Since it appears Acee, and Marty are no longer going to be the go-to sources for Bolts news and info, outside of team employees, I say we compile a list of people to follow on twitter in the LA market.

I'm sure this is all working itself out over the next few weeks but as you figure out who the mainly Chargers reporters are, post them here and I'll add it to the list.

Sam Farmer covers the NFL for the LA Times. So far he has been the most on top of Chargers news for people dedicated to LA.





TV: KABC TV (local channel 7) will carry the preseason games and have a Chargers-based show during the season, Saturday nights during prime time. KAZA TV will do the same thing, but this will be the Spanish language broadcast.

RADIO: KFI-640 will air all the games (this is good news, as it is a very strong signal). KFWB 980 will air the games in Spanish. AM 570 and FM 98.7 will also air game day programming concerning the Chargers.

Updated. I am pretty sure Marty Caswell is done, so I'll have to unfollow her. I have in interest in Padres anymore, especially how most of their fans that I interact with are happy the Bolts are gone so the Pads get all the SD attention.

Kevin Acee I think is done too.

We will see if the UT retains Mike Gelchkin and if he continues to report on the Bolts.

Our local media people will have to realize there will be a contingency of fans who remain Bolts fans, especially when the season nears and we start hearing about our favorite players again.

Too bad Gehlken, Marty, Annie and Acee didn't spend as much time repping for Measure C, as they have bashing the team about moving.

Guess they're all bitter they need new jobs?

No kidding. I can't listen to 1090 anymore. Yesterday, Scott Kaplan was going off about "organizing the fans", and finding a contractor to make urinal cake holders with Spanos' face on them. Aside from the "class", I was thinking -- organize the fans NOW??!!

It's temporary and being done because that's what the San Diego fans want right now. Makes sense and won't last long.
