One comment from a scout last night....."our fans' expectations will be unrealistic regardless of how we do in the finals".

The conversations that were had last as the game was progressing sure seemed like Vegas was quite comfortable playing the Caps. Their scouts really liked the matchups....time will tell how that goes. I do like Vegas’ chances against the Caps more than had they faced TB.

I understand the sentiment, and I am hearing plenty of it, but every team had a beginning. To be fair, they did have to play winning Ice Hockey for a majority of the season, and no team gave them an inch in the PO's. I view it as they earned their spot through hard work, and if it ends with their names on the Cup, good for them.
