Humphries took us to our only Super Bowl. The rest can get in line behind him.

And I'm the biggest Dan Fouts homer on the planet.

Interesting take. I am one of the rare ones that don't give SB's as much weight as others do-----unless of course it suits my side of a discussion.

Nothing wrong with your angle. But its a team sport. If Fouts had no defense, and Rivers no oline, that's not on them. IMO

Yes, if you're factoring Super Bowl appearance. Stan didn't do it alone. He had a solid offensive line and the Natrone Train to set up his big plays down the field. Seau and defense played superb that year as well.

Stan though has that poise to come up with big plays in the 4th quarter.

Rivers seems to always sputter in the big moments. He has shown potential to make big plays in the final quarter. They just don't come often enough and lately there's been more critical mental errors of late.

RB fumbles. WR fumbles. Receiver's not running the right routes, lout of position-----------lots to consider.
