I think the Broncos go for a young qb in the draft.
Hope they get Darnold and he busts like USC QBs like to do.

USC hater, here.

I think this is the year Chiefs regress. I wasn't impressed with Mahome at all when he played. He had his moments, but wasn't consistent. The Chiefs are going to regret this move. They were so close with Alex Smith. It's not the player. It's the coach.

The rumor around the league is that Cleveland and the Jets have the Cap space to sign Cousins. You have to figure that he is going to get around 20-24 million a year, and will want a front loaded contract.

I hate Mahommes potential. Hate it.

strange indeed, but whatever, the owner is a special guy
coming from a charger fan, that means something.

i fully expect Denver to go all out for cousins
horseface cant draft a qb to save his horse-life
Agreed !
Donkeys D says go for it now.
Horseface cannot contain himself.

IMO Cousins is either going to become a Donkeys player (most likely) or play for Jaguars. You could maybe link him to Cardinals with their need for a QB but, would he want to play in that division or last in that division i very much doubt it.

Redskins and Cousins became doomed to part ways.

Cousins wanted out.

Never thought of that scenario, of Cousins to the Jags, but it makes total sense to help push them over the edge as they are in win now mode.

I like it too, as it keeps the teams ahead of us in the draft still needing a qb....

It's something I've been mulling over as an option for a while, that team Is simply too talented to be held back by Bortles who has proven time and time again he can't deliver when his backs against the wall. Plus if you factor in Bortles surgery, Jags cap room alongside the fact that he is in his final year makes sense to cut ties now.

Cousins may not ever be as clutch as Brady or Rodgers but, with the supporting cast at Jaguars you would assume he would help them at least get to the championship game to get to the super bowl.

Do you mean Reid? He's one of the best game planning coaches there is and he out coached Lynn easily twice this season. Management wanted to get to the promise land. Smith was good enough to contend each year just couldn't quite lead them to a championship. It's always a team effort but their going a different direction. This changes the dynamic of the Chiefs and Chargers games...I wanted to beat a Smith led team for this past season. Patrick at the helm means either crash and burn or new era. Will see next season.

Wonder where Kirk heads to next? Fifth round draft pick has earned his biggest pay day yet. Congrats.
