If you bring the early year portions of these 4 contracts down to $20 mil, you have still used a large portion of the $27 million 2019 cap space.

I'd rather sign fewer FA's and use the remaining cap space to re-sign some of the less costly players that have expiring contracts... Philon, Phillips, Emmanuel, Square. I'd rather do most of my slot-fills with the draft.
The way I think about it we have some fat on our roster that we can cut out over the next few years. Ingram is set for huge back to back paydays, and up until this week he hasn't really earned his $18m and $16m cap hit ('19 and '20). It's also one of the reasons I'm fond of grooming someone behind him.

Others would be Liuget, Benjamin, Addae. At this point I'm not a fan of keeping Gordon beyond 2019 as I think he is going to want elite money. I'll post my latest mock when I have time but as a base case I'm cutting Benjamin, Addae and Dzubnar which will save $12m so the incremental cost in 2019 for those FAs would be $8m, which leaves room to bring back a good amount of the existing FAs, sign draft picks, and leave a few mil for contingency/in-season signings in 2019.

But keep in mind, my global strategy right now is to go all in for the next 2 years. Practically speaking, now through 2020 is going to be our best chance at a SB. Time to do what the Broncos did a few years ago and make a splash in FA to make a short term push for a SB. Nothing else matters.

That's ok. Don't even worry about it or give it another thought. Oh, by the way, do you prefer the Gator Moat or Lions Den ?

I prefer to swim the Gator Moat en route to the Kitty-Cat Den... that way I can wash the stench of the Kingdom from my person...

Crosby is 250 lbs....probably projects to an OLB who can pass rush...reminds me a bit of Kyle Emmanuel...

Well, I'm pretty sure all of that would do it alright.
