Actually it will be a crime against this teams ownership.

I hope Rivers shows up in games his last year here, with longer hair, some beard growing.

Lighten up bro.

Rivers hasn't had Brady's protection. Then again, he's never missed a season before either. But I think the guy has taken on injuries that we'll never know about. The ones we do know about were insane (torn ACL in the AFC Championship game, broken rib, slipped disk, etc). Guy has been beat up, and that takes its toll. I feel every bit my age and I haven't been playing football the last 15 years, I can only imagine how he feels when he wakes up every morning.

I'm not sure any NFL player plays through those, let alone a QB.

You are correct about Rivers being banged up in the past but those were like a decade ago, he has been very healthy since then it seems, he looked to be in amazing shape the past two years, he really slimmed down.

I see Brees and Brady playing several more years, hopefully Rivers follows suit and still has a lot of fun playing, he is so intense and loves the game hopefully that never fades.

PR had a recent season (2014) during the McCoy era where his back was shot due to getting hammered again and again while in the pocket. There was a question about whether the bulging disc would require surgery, but thankfully it healed with rest over the offseason.

PR has been healthy ever since.

He sported a mullet when playing local softball around SD, note E-dub in the 2nd pic .... Philip reportedly goes by the name 'Ricky' in these games
