![]() I have a feeling pretty soon the Chiefs are going to start to cool down and fizzle out. If we can stay consistent I believe we have a shot at the AFCW, we need to make our next meeting with them a statement game.

![]() Just like I won't predict the Chargers to beat the Chiefs until they prove otherwise, I will predict they fizzle too. Under Andy Reid they have a tendency to start out fast, sizzle in the middle, and bomb in the playoffs, until proven otherwise.

![]() I do not think the Chiefs will fizzle with their great QB and the amazing speed that they have on offense.
I could however see them go 12-4 which to me is not a fizzle with losses to L.A. Rams (a shoot out like in N.E.), Baltimore Ravens (because their D), and the L.A. Chargers (because our D and we can score a lot of points too). |

When Mahomes gets figured out he could go the way of Kaepernick or RG3. They were taking the league by storm too when they were hot. |

![]() The Rams appear beatable. Maybe they were just flat against the Packers but they were fortunate to pull out that win.
The Chiefs..... They will be there at the end. This team is the real deal.

![]() I'm thinking the first game of this season was suppose to be a statement game. We didn't rise to the occasion. This team needs to have a Rocky like mentality going into December. We're a long shot. They are now the favorites with that powerful all world offense.
A win against the Goliath like Chiefs would be one for the ages. If not in KC most definitely in the playoffs. We're talking epic game similar to Chargers Steelers AFC Championship in 95. Bring it. |

![]() No. Kaep is out because of unwanted politics. RG3 is injury prone. If Mahomes stays healthy and is surround by talent he'll continue to prosper. If he's surrounded with subpar talent and a crappy oline then things can look bad for any QB.

![]() As was the case with The Greatest Show on Turf, LAR/KC have overwhelming skill position personnel.
Take away Gurley or Tyreek, respectfully, and they are both very beatable. In October, don't presume perfect health in December. McVay, and more so Reid, have not come up big in January. Last edited by woodeye2000; 10-31-2018 at 04:48 AM.. |
