NFL is considering three separate off-field incidents as it works toward a final decision on discipline for former Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt, sources close to the situation tell @DanGrazianoESPN.

Dude is talented, no doubt, but he needs to get his life right. Because as young as he is, he'll be in places like that again, where those types of situations could occur.

The great success story is that he gets continued counseling, and finds himself in all the places he needs to be to work towards the goal of coming back and playing for another team.

Anthony Lynn at 4-6 before the 2017 Thanksgiving game in Dallas:
"I am not afraid of the big picture. Coaches preach about a game at a time, and, of course, that is correct. But I want our team to know that everything is in front of them."

Not now certainly. He will be suspended indefinitely as already noted, but he also needs to pay his penance with a long time away from the game. That said, if he serves a suspension and a year from now he's demonstrated he has changed, and lives his life more like Philip Rivers than and less like Justin Bieber, a team culture like the Bolts have might be a good place for him. I don't think we have any problem children on our roster, which I think is one reason for the success. It's a tight-knit group of professionals who (seemingly) have their lives together and their priorities straight. We don't have a VJ on this team. I bet they hold each other accountable too.

I think cutting him was a very classy move by the Chiefs.
Many tams would have simply suspended him and hoped for the best.
That said, I think a team that would sign him right now would be classless.
He can't play until next year or maybe even later. He cooked his own goose.

Kareem Hunt would be a good fit for a jail cell. I don't want that coward anywhere near this football team.
