If I have enough Southwest Rapid Rewards miles by then, I might make the trek to this game. Why not? I've been to Mexico, but never Mexico City. I guess it depends on the date the game is played.

Mexico City sucks. It's like playing in Denver but 2100' higher above sea level (Mexico City = 7382', Denver = 5280')... plus it's in deep Mexico.

Sadly, this was the season that the new stadium was supposed to be opened before the rain delays. This team deserves a better home field experience... which is the worst in the NFL, and it's not even close.
They’ll have to go down early to get used to it. Assume they get a bye week after? Much shorter trip than London.

I think they said they are going to request an east coast game the week before the Mexico game, like they did with the London game.

I'm guessing Jax or Miami.

doesn't make sense. Mexico City is just as close to LA as it is to Miami.

I'm bummed. I was really hoping to send the Packers or Steelers to Mexico. We are losing a game I always look forward to in the Chiefs. Packers and Steelers fans are both in my bottom 5 fan bases to deal with back in SD.

Closer. Also, saving an hour from the time zone. Mexico is CST.

I don't grok why they would request going 2700 miles east then flying back to LA and flying another 2400 miles sur.

Better to play somewhere like Denver the week before and acclimate to the elevation.

Generally, how much does a trip cost? And how much is the ticket?

$2-400 for a round trip flight, depending upon when you go and how far you book ahead.

Budget ~$100-150 per day for lodging, travel, and food.

No idea on ticket prices yet.
