Ill have a watch of the video's. I don't doubt his skillset though he would be someone i hope the chargers are interested in, i just see more pressing needs at the ILB and DT positions; that the Chargers will be better dealing with in the first rather than later on.

Because Perryman can't stay healthy. 3 years in the NFL and he plays in less games in each year. Otherwise, I have no problem with your thoughts on this matter. Drafting a player that can play alongside Perryman when he is actually healthy is going to be a bonus.Nwosa might actually be available in the 3rd round too. Would not mind going OT/C or vice-a-versa in the first two rounds before re-stocking our LB corp. Get a DT and K in the FA and we are sitting pretty.

I would prefer a better playmaker at WLB in early rd.
And competition for SLB.

In my mock I got Nwosu 6'2 245lbs for WLB or SLB with versatility to play MLB for better depth behind Perryman. And later rd. D.Jackson 6'2 240lbs for SLB a better athlete than Emanuel and Covington 6'2 230lbs at WLB.

Depth would look like this in 2018, a quicker more athletic group, and more size.

WLB - Nwosu, Brown, Covington

MLB - Perryman, Nwosu, Pullard

SLB - Emanuel, Nwosu, Jackson

Side notes; Jackson is 2 time DPOY in his conference, he played defensive back in high school and is a relative of Bo Jackson.
This kid will make a teams 53 man roster.
Covington is a very good athlete and was a QB as a freshman at Indiana and then switch to LB. I expect he will also make a teams 53 man roster.

I liked Nwosu back on January 26th. And thought SLB was the highest priority of the 3 LB spots.
Then with so much time before draft I liked dozens of other players and went away from Nwosu.
