Chargers are coming to Oxnard.
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

I was under the impression that merely moving to Los Angeles was a guarantee of a sizable jump in team valuation. I believe it was projected to be $3B+ after the move.

This quote is telling: "Our $2.275 billion valuation of the Chargers reflects their move to Inglewood for the 2020 season.." That valuation appears to be the approximately the same as would have been realized with a new stadium in San Diego.

So mere relocation to the LA market wasn't/isn't all it was cracked up to be. Apparently for the Rams it has been, but they had 49 years of prior history in LA metro to tap into.
