Default Met Philip Rivers at Hamburger Factory in Poway

Random post and not sure it belongs in GD, but just wanted to mention that I was at the Hamburger Factory in Poway on Sunday morning and saw Philip Rivers there having breakfast with his family. I went up to his table and shook his hand and said great game on Thursday. Also said it has been a privilege watching him play all these years. He was really cool about it and said thanks for the support. I said that I hope the Chargers remain in SD, and he said "Me too man, you guys are what make it fun and you deserve a team here."

Great guy and very nice family.

Was it a privilege to watch him eat with his family?

Yes. He threw a waffle that was intercepted though. I could tell he wanted that one back.

No, I didn't. When I was a young boy, I definitely would have. I remember being a kid and hanging out at Chargers training camp so that I could get autographs from guys like Junior Seau, Stan Humphries, Natrone Means, Ronnie Harmon, Leslie O'Neal, etc. As I've grown older though, I have lost interest in getting autographs. Nowadays, when I meet a Chargers player, a handshake and brief conversation makes me perfectly happy.
