Default Is Rivers ok?

He's looked off the past few weeks, though the blame can easily be put on the line and his receivers, but check out these numbers.

Weeks 1-3: 5 TD, 0 INT, 6 times sacked, 2 fumbles

Weeks 4-8: 10 TD, 7 INT, 15 times sacked, 4 fumbles

Yikes! Is he on the decline? Is he playing hurt?

Well 4 sacks came from the Denver game alone.

A few of the INT's are on the Skill Players also, batting the ball up or running wrong routes...

I'd say it's more a reflection of the defenses we've played.

Rivers might be a little sore after that last Donk game, but I don't think he's playing injured.

He definitely got beat up in Denver. At least twice he was bent over or on a knee after absorbing a hit. So, hey let's pass 4 times from the 2!!!

Well we have played the Broncos defense twice during the last 4 games. Hard to do that without having multiple sacks. And you cant fault the QB when he hits a receiver in the hands and he pops it up like a volleyball player setting up a spike.

That under rated movie with bruce willis as a real life comicbook hero and samuel jackson as a comic villan, ya willis' character was based off of rivers.

Rivers blood = liquid titanium

Rivers is just being rivers. He typically struggles against good defenses and shreds mediocre and weak ones. Barksdale has looked terrible the last couple of weeks and I expect this to have an effect on rivers down the stretch if the oline doesn't shore up. He will be hearing pressure even when there is none if this continues.

From what I read, we give up more points off turnovers than any team in the league.
Can whiz adjust the playbook if this keeps happening?

Three of the seven weren't really his fault (the throws to Whalen and Tyrell against Denver, and the throw to McCluster against Atlanta). The interception against NO was a jump ball on 4th and extremely long in a do or die moment with nobody open and a receiver (Tyrell) that doesn't understand how to high point the football.. To me, there is only three that were bad throws/decisions by 17, both picks against Oak and 1 in Denver.

He got beat up against Denver, and is probably hurting after that beating, but he's playing at a top notch level. If the receivers made the routine plays this wouldn't be the topic of conversation and the team would likely be closer to .500
